Lindsey and Tyler were married on a beautiful summer afternoon at Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde, Maine. After nearly a decade together, these two finally tied the knot, and it was well worth the wait!

The day started at the East Wind Inn in Tenants Harbor, a cozy spot right on the water. There, on opposite ends of the Inn, Lindsey and Tyler got ready with their respective halves of the wedding party. It was so much fun photographing the excitement, as everyone got ready for the big day ahead.

A family friend had loaned his antique roadster to Lindsey and Tyler for the afternoon. So, once they were done getting ready, the soon-to-be newlyweds hopped in the car and made the short drive over to Marshall Point. There, family and friends greeted them with smiles and hugs. It was such a joyful sight! Eventually, everyone got settled, and it was time for the ceremony. Under a bright blue sky, and with the ocean as their backdrop, Lindsey and Tyler exchanged the vows that were nearly ten years in the making. Talk about an awesome moment!

After formal pictures by the lighthouse, everyone drove to Rockport Marine Park for the reception. I don’t think it’s possible to have a reception closer to the water, as the tent was no more than twenty feet from the harbor! Lindsey had put a lot of time and effort into reception details, and the tables were lovingly decorated with starfish, sea shells, and sea urchins. What’s more, in the months leading up to the wedding, Lindsey and Tyler had painstakingly crafted and painted miniature lobster buoys, which they gave to guests as gifts. It must have taken them forever to make so many buoys, and it was such a thoughtful way to celebrate.

Later in the evening, the four of us took a quick boat cruise around Rockport Harbor, just as the sun was starting to set. It was a chance for Lindsey and Tyler to have a moment to themselves, and a chance for Matt and me to get a few last pictures. What better way to cap such a beautiful day?

Matt and I had a great time photographing Lindsey and Tyler’s wedding, and we wish them much happiness in the future. Below are some of my favorite pictures from throughout their day. I hope you enjoy them!
