Say hello to Katie and Brandon. These two were friends for a long time before they finally started dating during their senior year of high school. They soon went off to college together, and the rest, as they say, is history!

Katie and Brandon chose the Portside Manor in Searsport, Maine for both their ceremony and reception. The Portside Manor is a new wedding venue that sits overlooking Penobscot Bay. It offers many spacious guest rooms, a large lawn, and easy access to a private beach. What more could you ask for? This was actually the first wedding to take place at the Portside Manor, which made it all the more fun to photograph!

The weather was beautiful on this particular day. The sun was shining, but a steady ocean breeze kept everyone cool. Katie and Brandon said their vows with the ocean as their backdrop. It was such a sweet ceremony, and Katie and Brandon were so cute! It was obvious that they had been waiting for this moment for a long time.

We took advantage of the private beach and photographed a number of pictures there throughout the day. The lupines near the manor were also in full bloom, so we were sure to include those as well. Katie and Brandon made our jobs easy! They were so quick to laugh, and Matt and I had a lot of fun exploring the grounds with them.

As the day progressed, there were all sorts of festivities and much dancing. This group really knew how to party, which meant lots of great dance shots. Brandon, in particular, went all out with his dancing. It was so nice to see a groom out there on the dance floor like that!

Matt and I really enjoyed working with Katie and Brandon, and we wish them the absolute best! Below are some of my favorite pictures from throughout their wedding. Enjoy!
