Jen and Brian’s Wedding Picturesat the Whitehall Inn in Camden, Maine
20 Aug 2015, Posted by Wedding Photography inJen and Brian traveled all the way from Montana to Maine so they could get married at the beautiful Camden Harbor Park and Amphitheatre, the same spot where we photographed their engagement session a few months earlier. The weather was perfect for their special day, and Matt and I had a great time photographing the festivities!
The day started at the Whitehall Inn, where Jen and Brian were each getting ready in separate rooms. Several guests and family members were staying at the Whitehall, so there was a buzz of excitement all throughout the Inn as people came and went. Jen’s mother and bridesmaids helped Jen get into her dress and touch up her makeup, laughing and having a great time as they did so.
Before long, it was time for Jen to meet Brian out by the patio for their first look! The Whitehall has an adorable back patio nestled in between the building and several overhanging trees. It was the perfect spot – both private and pretty. Jen and Brian were so cute together as they saw each other dressed up for the first time. After a quiet moment together, they met up with their wedding party and family for formals in front of the Inn.
Soon, it was time for the ceremony, and everyone made the short trip down the hill toward the Amphitheatre. The Amphitheatre is a beautiful outdoor space featuring fieldstone, brick, wrought iron rails, and natural trees and shrubs. It overlooks Camden Harbor and extends into Harbor Park, a rolling, two-acre park along the water. The chairs were set up facing the Library, so the ornate building could serve as a backdrop for the ceremony. There, surrounded by their guests and shaded by the trees, Jen and Brian exchanged vows and became husband and wife!
After a few pictures down by the water, it was time to head back to the Whitehall for the reception. Jen and Brian had hired a Boston band, Honey Train, to entertain throughout the evening, which featured Brian’s cousin, Kyle, on the drums. With tons of great music to last the night, there was all sorts of dancing going on!
Matt and I really enjoyed our time photographing Jen and Brian’s wedding, and we wish them much happiness! Below are some of my favorite pictures from throughout their day. Enjoy!
