Say hello to Danielle and Kenny! In early August, these two were married at a family residence in Litchfield, Maine. The sky looked threatening early in the day, but, after a brief shower, the sun came out and the weather was lovely. In the days leading up to the wedding, family and friends helped Danielle and Kenny put everything together, from floral arrangements to lawn games. The end result was a fantastic celebration that combined elegance with backyard fun.

The wedding ceremony took place in a field adjacent to the property. There, rows of hay bales had been set up in place of seats. The hay was such a neat idea, and it really was quite comfortable! Kenny had the biggest smile on his face when Danielle walked down the aisle, and, all throughout the ceremony, Danielle and Kenny couldn’t stop laughing and smiling. It was so adorable to watch, and it was a lot of fun to photograph.

After the ceremony, it was time for a few formal pictures. A nearby walking path turned out to be the perfect spot. Danielle and Kenny made our job easy, as they were so quick to laugh. They were so happy to finally be married, and it showed in everything they did together.

The reception was filled with toasts, dancing, lawn games – you name it. The temperature was perfect, and you really couldn’t ask for a nicer evening. Guests alternated between the lawn and the tent, mingling and playing games well into the night.

Matt and I had a great time photographing Danielle and Kenny’s wedding, and we wish them much happiness in the future. Below are a few of my favorite pictures from throughout their day. Enjoy!
