Say hello to Christine and Ryan! These two met at a joint military course in Eglin, Florida and have been together for just over two years. They were married on a beautiful June day in Bar Harbor, and Matt and I had a great time photographing their wedding.

The ceremony took place at Saint Saviour’s Episcopal Church, a striking stone and brick church known for its stained glass windows. First built in 1878, Saint Saviour’s is the oldest, largest, and tallest public building on Mount Desert Island. Pretty neat, eh? Father Timothy Fleck presided over a lovely wedding service, and, before long, Christine and Ryan were married. They looked so happy as they walked down the aisle! After hugs and kisses from their family and friends, the newlyweds were whisked away in a horse-drawn carriage. How romantic!

Everyone then made their way over to the Bar Harbor Inn for the reception. The Inn did a great job setting all the tables, and I particularly liked the floral arrangements. Lunch was served, followed by toasts, the cake cutting, and lots of dancing. It was such a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, and everyone had so much fun.

Once the reception was over, Christine and Ryan joined Matt and me on a mini tour of Acadia National Park. First, we visited the Jesup Path, a beautiful wooden boardwalk that leads to the Great Meadow. From there, we made our way to the cliffs near thunder hole for an authentic Acadia experience. Christine’s dress featured a beautifully long train, and so we unbustled it for full effect. Chrstine and Ryan were so cute together, and they looked so gorgeous there on the beautiful Acadia coastline.

Matt and I truly enjoyed our time with Christine and Ryan. All day long, they were such a pleasure to photograph and so much fun to be around. Below are some of my favorite pictures from throughout their wedding. I hope you enjoy!
