Brianna and Ryan had their first date six years ago at a nautical-themed dive Bar in Seattle. Brianna thought the date had gone well, but at the end of the night Ryan said, “Well, see you around.” Brianna figured she would never see him again, but she sent him a thank you message anyway. To her surprise, Ryan reached back out, and they went on their second date not long after.

Ryan proposed to Brianna while in Paris, just after dinner. They had returned to their Airbnb and, as Brianna was taking off her coat, Ryan got down on one knee. When Brianna turned around, she saw Ryan and was so surprised that she kept saying, “Oh my God, what are you doing?!” After getting over her surprise, Brianna of course said yes. They celebrated with champagne at a local café.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Brianna and Ryan knew they wanted to get married at Ryan’s parents’ vacation home in Brooksville, Maine. Ryan’s parents built the home 17 years ago, and it has become a special place for him and his family. Originally, Brianna and Ryan we’re supposed to be married in 2020. Covid-19 made that impossible, but they were able to finally tie the knot a year later.

The day of the wedding was beautiful. Brianna and Ryan lucked out and had one of the nicest days in all of July. Brianna got ready down the road in a cottage at the Oakland House, and Ryan got ready at his parents’ house. Everyone was excited to see this awesome couple finally have their special day.

The ceremony was officiated by Ryan’s sister, Katie, who did a wonderful job. There were a few readings, and, before you knew it, Brianna and Ryan were celebrating their first kiss as husband and wife. From there, guests enjoyed cocktails while we stole the happy couple away for photos. Brianna couldn’t stop smiling at Ryan, and you could tell Ryan was just as happy. The day progressed with several heartfelt toasts and dancing well into the evening.
