Bar Harbor Maine EngagementPhotographer: Tari and Ian
05 Feb 2015, Posted by Engagement Photography, Wedding Photography inTari and Ian love hiking and being outdoors, but they had never had the opportunity to visit Acadia National Park. So, when it came time to photograph their engagement session last spring, Tari and Ian decided that their session would be the perfect excuse to take a mini-vacation to the Park.
Even though we had a late spring last year, the weather was quite nice by the time the session rolled around. Tari and Ian were so cute together, and you can tell by the pictures that they’re really good at making each other smile. We started things off at Bubble Pond, a quiet little spot near the base of Pemetic Mountain. From there, we moved on to Bubble Mountain, famous for the Bubble Rock that perches precariously at its summit.
We hiked the 20 minute trail to the top of North Bubble, chatting and taking pictures along the way. The views from Bubble Mountain, which overlooks the length of Jordan Pond, are absolutely gorgeous. By the time we reached the summit, the sun was getting low on the horizon. Tari and Ian sat and enjoyed a moment together while Matt and I photographed from a few different angles.
It was such a joy working with this happy couple, and, by the time we were finished, Matt and I couldn’t wait to photograph Tari and Ian’s wedding at the Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield, Maine. Stay tuned for pictures from the wedding. In the meantime, enjoy some of my favorite photos from Tari and Ian’s engagement session!
