Maine Engagement Photographer:Kayla and Nate at Bangor City Forest
08 Feb 2014, Posted by Engagement Photography, Wedding Photography inBack in early November, Matt and I met up with Kayla and Nate, one of our awesome 2014 wedding couples, at the Bangor City Forest for their engagement session. The leaves had mostly turned, and the forest paths were strewn with orange and brown pine needles, which made for beautiful pictures! You’d never know it, but it was actually rather chilly that afternoon. Kayla and Nate both did an excellent job ignoring the cold and keeping each other warm. They even kept their coats off for most of the session, which was fantastic because Kayla wore such a cute button-up sweater.
We started the session along the main path into the forest, to get everyone warmed up a bit. From there, we made our way toward the old rock wall near the tree sanctuary. Kayla and Nate were so easy to photograph! They were both so completely natural in front of the camera and so happy to be together. Matt and I were able to capture a bunch of cute little moments, and we knew right away that their wedding should be a lot of fun to photograph!
As the sun started to set, we walked over toward the footbridge to get a few more pictures before finally making the long trek back to the cars. We finished off their session with a couple panoramic shots up on the hill. We didn’t stay up there too long, however, because it was super windy and cold!
Check out some of my favorite pictures from the session below. Matt and I can’t wait to photograph Kayla and Nate’s wedding this July!
