Katie and David’s Engagement Sessionat Acadia National Park
11 Aug 2016, Posted by Engagement Photography, Wedding Photography inA couple weeks ago, Matt and I had the privilege of spending the evening with Katie and David at Acadia National Park. We started their engagement session at the Jesup Path, a beautiful boardwalk near the Wild Gardens of Acadia. This is one of our favorite spots to photograph in the park, because of the tall marsh grasses and white birch trees. It’s also very private compared to some parts of the park.
From there, we visited Sand Beach. Katie and David were up for a bit of adventure, and, after a few pictures walking along the beach, they were ready to get right into the water! While the water was a bit cold, that didn’t stop these two from looking incredibly cute and happy together.
We finished the session along the beach just as the sun was starting to set. The eastern side of Mount Desert Island is always so pretty when the sun sets, as the sky gets filled with blues and pinks. This night was no different, and we were able to capture a very pretty sky.
Matt and I had so much fun working with Katie and David, and we look forward to photographing their wedding in a couple weeks! Stay tuned for pictures from their big day. In the meantime, below are some of my favorite pictures from their engagement session. Enjoy!
