Emma and Gerry's Engagement Session in Acadia National Park

Emma and Gerry’s story began seven years ago at a summer camp in Michigan, where they were both working. Eventually, they became inseparable. When it came time for Gerry to propose, he chose the perfect opportunity – during a family ski vacation at Sunday River Resort. Emma, of course, said yes, which meant an engagement session was in order!

With a shared passion for skiing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors, Emma and Gerry decided that Acadia National Park would be the perfect location for their pictures. So, last October, this awesome couple met us at the Wild Gardens of Acadia to begin their session. As you can see below, they picked a perfect time for peak foliage. The trees and ground were covered in the most beautiful mixture of red, orange, and yellow leaves. It was such a stunning backdrop for this stunning couple.

After spending about an hour at the Gardens, we traveled further along the Park Loop Road to the cliffs near the Ocean Path. We love this particular location, because it is flat and walkable with gorgeous views of Otter Cliff. The whole time, Emma and Gerry were so cute together. They’re both quick to laugh, and you can’t help but feel happy in their presence. The weather was fairly warm for October in Maine, and we used every last bit of daylight available. The sky got progressively more and more colorful as the day wore on.

This Saturday, Emma and Gerry will be tying the knot at the Camden Amphitheatre with a reception to follow at Emma’s family home nearby. We can’t wait to work with these two again and capture what will surely be a beautiful day full of fun and merriment.
