Cassie and Josh’s Engagement Sessionat Bass Habor Head Lighthouse and Seawall
17 Sep 2015, Posted by Engagement Photography, Wedding Photography inThis past spring, Matt and I met up with Cassie and Josh for an engagement session at Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse in Acadia National Park. The Lighthouse resides in a less well-known part of the Park, near the southernmost tip of Mount Desert Island. It sits atop a beautiful cliff face overlooking the ocean. This is where we started the session, in amongst the reddish rocks for which Acadia is known.
Cassie and Josh were both so much fun to photograph. They even brought along their dogs, Duncan and Otis, to join in the pictures! We had a nice time chatting about their wedding plans and exploring the cliffs. After a while, we traveled down the road to the Seawall picnic area. The Seawall stretches for a couple miles of rocky coast, and it has a definite Maine feel. It was a chilly day, so Cassie and Josh cuddled up together in their picnic blanket. It was totally cute!
This coming weekend, these two will be getting married at Cassie’s parents’ house in Milford. Cassie’s parents have been working tirelessly all summer to make everything look perfect, and we can’t wait to see the results! Stay tuned for pictures from Cassie and Josh’s wedding. In the meantime, below are a few of my favorite pictures from their engagement session. Enjoy!
