Indira and Raul’s Anniversary Session at Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine
19 May 2020, Posted by Engagement Photography, Wedding Photography inMeet Indira and Raul. Last fall they celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary with a trip to New England, starting in Bar Harbor. They didn’t hire a professional photographer for their wedding (something that Indira said they regretted), so they wanted to do something special for this anniversary. We were excited that they asked us to help them remember this special anniversary with a couple’s portrait session.
Since this was their first trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park’s they asked for some location suggestions. Indira loves fall colors and the ocean, so we suggested the Wild Gardens of Acadia/Jesup Path and Seal Cove Beach. Out of all the locations in Acadia National Park, the Jesup Path and surrounding trails are one of the best places to see the most foliage all in one place.
The day of their anniversary session was beautiful! They had planned their trip during the start of peak foliage for Bar Harbor, so most of the leaves were still on the tree and quite colorful. This is my favorite time of the year, so I’m excited they got to experience it as well!
Indira and Raul were a pleasure to photograph. They were so natural as a couple, and it was clear they really enjoyed being together. We had a great time walking the Jesup Path and finding lovely spots along the way to stop. We ended their portrait session on Seal Harbor Beach as the sun was starting to set. It was a little chilly for these Florida natives, but they toughed it out for some beautiful beach photos.
We hope Indira and Raul enjoyed Maine and wish them many more wonderful anniversaries! Some of our favorite photos from their anniversary portrait session are below. Enjoy!
