Bridal Session at French’s Point in Stockton Springs, Maine

A couple weeks ago, Matt and I had the pleasure of working with not one, but two, beautiful brides at the majestic French’s Point in Stockton Springs, Maine. I had been wanting to visit French’s Point for a while, and I was excited when they invited us and a couple other photographer friends to use their property for our bridal session. It ended up being an unseasonably cold and windy day, which limited our time outdoors. But that was okay, because French’s Point features many lovely indoor picture options as well.
Dana Bement provided hair and makeup. Dana is a ton of fun, and she’s very good at what she does. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist! She even let me help curl Mellisa’s hair. While that was fun, I definitely won’t be quitting my photographer day job!
The lovely bouquets were provided by Tracy at Morningtide Garden. I had worked with Tracy in the past, and I love her arrangements. So I knew she’d come up with fabulous bouquets for our brides, and she did! I look forward to working with her again this summer, and I can’t wait to see what she creates.
Mellisa and Torey were our brides for the session. They’re close friends, and they each got married earlier in the year. The two of them were so much fun, and I really enjoyed how different they were to photograph. They did such an awesome job modeling for hours on end and enduring the cold weather!
Overall, our bridal session was a great way to spend an afternoon and the perfect way to kick off our wedding season. I’ve included some of my favorite pictures below. Enjoy!
