Emily and Danny’s Engagement Sessionin Boothbay Harbor, Maine
24 Apr 2017, Posted by Engagement Photography, Wedding Photography inEmily and Danny both studied theater in college, and they first met while performing in a local production of “A Little Night Music.” Because I’m also a huge musical theater fan, I was so excited when they first contacted me about photographing their engagement session and wedding.
Emily grew up visiting Boothbay Harbor, and the town has always held a special place in her heart. That’s why she and Danny picked the Spruce Point Inn for their wedding venue. However, on their wedding day, Emily and Danny won’t have a chance to visit the rest of Boothbay Harbor. So, we all agreed their engagement session would be the perfect time to get pictures in and around Boothbay Harbor itself.
You’d never know it from the pictures, but the engagement session took place on a coooold day. At one point, Matt’s fingers even went numb from holding onto the cold camera. But Emily and Danny never gave into the cold! They did a fantastic job keeping each other warm, and they laughed and smiled all throughout the session. We toured downtown Boothbay Harbor and then took a short drive to a rocky beach nearby.
Despite the weather, the four of us had a great time, and Matt and I really enjoyed working with this amazing couple. We can’t wait to photograph their wedding in August! Below are some of my favorite pictures from Emily and Danny’s engagement session. Enjoy!
