The Best Maine Wedding Photographs of 2019

We love being wedding photographers! It means we get to meet all sorts of wonderful couples and share in the biggest day of their lives. Our couples come from all over. Some of them live in Maine, but many of them do not. All of our couples choose to get married in Maine because of the state’s unique beauty and charm. It’s one of the most spectacular places on earth, which is why we’ve chosen to make Maine our home.

This past year, we got to photograph at several amazing Maine destinations. We spent a lot of time in Bar Harbor, photographing weddings at the the Bar Harbor Inn, the Bar Harbor Regency, the Atlantic Oceanside, and, of course, Acadia National Park. We also traveled to Camden a few times, photographing at the Vesper Children’s Chapel, the Camden Amphitheatre, and 16 Bayview. We started the year in Portland at the Press Hotel and O’Maine Studios, and we returned there later in the season to photograph at the Westin. Along the way, we shot a wedding at Camp Mataponi in Naples, and we finished off the season at the William Allen Farm in Pownal.

Putting together our Best of Maine Weddings blog is one of our favorite things to do each year. It’s also one of the hardest. We love getting to relive the season by revisiting each wedding and picking our favorite pictures. But it’s difficult to distill so many great weddings into just a few select pictures. We did our best to include favorites from every wedding. It was hard, but fun.

Before this post gets any longer, we want to say a big THANK YOU to all of our 2019 couples. It was a pleasure working with you! Thank you again for asking us to be a part of your special day.

We also want to thank all the other hard working vendors who helped make our couples’ weddings that much more memorable. Each wedding is a team effort, and we couldn’t have captured these pictures without the help of many talented partners.
