Mount Blue High School Senior Portrait: Wylie at the Bangor City Forest

Meet Wylie. She is part of the Mount Blue High School’s 2019 graduating class. Lisa, Wylie’s mom, decided to reach out to us because she said our photos felt more personal, and she liked the hint of spontaneity she saw. I loved hearing this because that is definitely what we strive for in all areas of our photography.

When choosing a location Wylie said she liked wooded areas. Since she was not from the Bangor area, she asked where I suggested. Without hesitating I said the Bangor City Forest! I love this location because it has such a nice variety of walking trails and wooded areas. It’s a perfect location for a senior portrait session.

We had a lovely fall day for Wylie’s session. She and her parents drove about ninety minutes one way to her senior session. I know I’ve said it before, but I will say it again: I’m always flattered when a senior travels all that way for me to photograph them. I love photographing seniors and this makes me love it even more!

Wylie was very sweet to work with. Not only did I get to photograph her, but I also got to show her family part of the Bangor City Forest. They told me they would definitely be visiting again with their pup. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening.

Wylie, thanks again for driving all that way and asking me to do your senior portrait session. It was a pleasure working with you, and I hope you have a fabulous senior year!
