Maine Senior Portrait Photographer: Anna - Bangor High School

Meet Anna, a member of Bangor High School’s 2014 senior class! I had the pleasure of photographing her senior portrait session at the University of Maine Botanical Garden last summer. The garden is always a great place to photograph, with all the flowers and trees. This particular afternoon was exceptionally lovely!

Anna was referred to me by two other Bangor High School seniors, who I photographed a year earlier. I’m so glad they referred her, because Anna was such a sweetie! She loves fashion, so she arrived with a car full of clothing. I always love it when that happens! The more options, the better. That way we can pick and choose what works best.

Anna was a complete natural in front of the camera, like she had been doing this sort of thing for a long time. Between all the posing and laughing, her session just seemed to fly by! We went all throughout the gardens, taking pictures with a variety of backdrops. There were flowers, stone walls, cat o’ nine tails, you name it!

To end the session, we drove a few miles down the road to Witter Farm, where there is a huge open field. The sun was beginning to set, and some impressive clouds were starting to role in. It made for some dramatic shots!
