The Best Maine Portraits of 2017

What a year it was for portrait sessions! Matt and I had a wonderfully busy and rewarding 2017 season. We got to catch up and work with some past clients as well as meet and photograph many new friends. Some of our family session clients came all the way from Pennsylvania, Florida, Maryland, and Texas to vacation in Maine. We were honored that they asked us to help them capture their special vacations, birthdays, and anniversaries with a family portrait session. It was a privilege (and a joy) to get to work with so many wonderful families!

High school senior sessions are always a lot of fun, and I worked with some amazing seniors in 2017. Some of them even traveled an hour or two to have me photograph them. I can’t tell you how amazing that makes me feel. I’m so happy that they asked me to capture such a special time in their lives!

We also enjoyed our engagement sessions. While many of our wedding couples live out of state, we typically have a few each year that visit Maine and want to have an engagement session while here. We love this because it gives us (and them) a chance to get to know each other better while having a fun time taking pictures!

It was hard putting together this “best of” blog post. However, it really was a lot of fun to relive each session. Thanks to all our portrait clients who helped make 2017 such a memorable year!
