The N. Family’s Portrait Session atthe University of Maine
31 Jan 2017, Posted by Family Photography inI first met part of this cute family last summer while they were vacationing in Camden, Maine. I loved working with Kerinne and her family. That’s why I was super excited when I heard from her sister-in-law, Fran, that Kerinne and her family would be visiting again. I was even more excited to hear that they wanted to set up a time for a double family portrait session while the whole family was in Maine.
We decided on the University of Maine’s Littlefield Garden for their location. It has so many beautiful backdrops and places for the kids to play that it made a great backdrop for their family portrait session. I started out with Fran and her family, while Matt worked with Kerinne and hers. We later switched so I could work with Kerinne’s family, and he could work with Fran’s. This is a great example of why we do larger family sessions together: it means a lot less time waiting around for everyone involved.
Both families were a dream to work with. Fran’s grandchildren, Eloise and Parker, were especially cute. I was quite impressed by Eloise’s posing skills. You could definitely see that she loved her time in front of the camera (see what I mean below)! Kerinne’s family was as wonderful as ever. I’m always impressed by her six kids. They consistently do a wonderful job during their family session. You can tell that they’ve done this before.
It was great seeing Kerinne and her family again, as well as meeting Fran and her family. I hope I get another chance to work with them again soon!
I’ve included some of my favorite photos from both family portrait sessions below. Enjoy!
