The C. Family’s Portrait Sessionat Acadia National Park
22 Apr 2020, Posted by Family Photography inLast summer we had the pleasure of working with the C. Family. They came from all over the country to spend a fun full week together in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. This was their first trip to the area, so we happily helped them choose a location for their family portrait session. They picked the cliffs near Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park because they loved the backdrop (I mean, who wouldn’t – it’s gorgeous).
As we do with many families that have young children, their portrait session was a combination of formal and candid portraits. That gave Sterling a chance to explore and work off some energy between formal pictures (and as we worked with other members of the family). It was also a perfect way for us to sneak in some cute candids. We were very impressed with how well he and his cousin Hugh did, since they were both under the age of three!
After the session they were so sweet and left us the following review – ” Lexi and Matt took our annual family portrait, and the results were fantastic. They worked at our pace (which is sometimes slow with two grandchildren under 3 years), offered helpful guidance on poses and locations, and captured additional candid shots as we played on the coastal rocks. The photos were excellent and we would definitely recommend them.”
We had a blast working with this fun family (see photos below). We’re so happy that they reached out to us and scheduled a family portrait session. We hope to get the chance to work with them again in the future. I’ve included a few of our favorite photos from our time together below. Enjoy!
