Messalonskee Senior Portrait:Gracie at the University of Maine03 Jan 2018, Posted by High School Senior Portraits in
Say hello to Gracie. I first met her family last year when I photographed senior pictures for her sister, Juliana. I loved working with Julianna. So, when her mom, Nicole, asked me to take Gracie’s pictures, I excitedly said yes! I knew that if Gracie was anything like her sister, then she would be a blast to photograph!
Before the session got underway, Gracie had hair and makeup done by the very talented Dana Bement. I love working with Dana, because she’s great at what she does and she pampers my seniors. Gracie looked amazing after hair and makeup, and I couldn’t wait for the session to start!
Gracie wanted to do her whole portrait session outside surrounded by trees, flowers, and water. Therefore, we decided to take pictures at the Littlefield Garden and at the edge of the Stillwater River. Gracie brought a flower crown to wear in some of her portraits, and it was the perfect compliment to her outfit and the scenery. She looked so good!
Gracie was a natural in front of the camera, and I still can’t get over how quickly she felt at ease. Gracie told me how much fun she was having, and it definitely showed in her pictures! Her mom and sister were awesome cheerleaders, and it was great they could be there to support Gracie.
After seeing the proofing gallery, Gracie’s mom told me, “You did such a great job! I feel like you captured so many sides of Gracie’s personality.” Thanks, Nicole!
