Family Portrait Session on Cadillac Mountain at Acadia National Park25 Mar 2016, Posted by Family Photography in
Bar Harbor holds a special place in this cute family’s hearts. Renee and Dave were engaged on Cadillac Mountain and married at the Bar Harbor Inn. Because Bar Harbor is such an important part of their story, they wanted to come back to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. They decided to make their trip a family vacation, so they could bring their daughter Ava along and show her all their special spots. They wanted to remember this special trip, so they asked me to join them for a family session in Acadia National Park.
We started their family portrait session where it all began on the top of Cadillac Mountain. Dave even pointed out the spot where he proposed to Renee. I loved hearing more about their proposal and wedding. Ava loved the area and had a great time checking out all the rocks, grass, and walking the paths. She is such a happy, funny kid that it was a ton of fun photographing her and her parents. Renee and Dave were so easy going and I could tell how much they were enjoying this little family outing.
We then headed to Jordan Pond and brought out a few stuffed friends for Ava to play with. Ava had a blast including mommy and daddy in on the fun (scroll down to see what I mean). I thoroughly enjoyed my time photographing this wonderful family! I’m pretty sure Ava and her parents kept me smiling during their whole session.
I’ve included some of my favorite photos from their family portrait session below. Enjoy!
